Over a decade ago, Campbell Kearns, a seasoned chef with more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, envisioned expanding his culinary career beyond the confines of restaurant walls. His dream was to create a business that reflected his passion for food and exceptional service. Upon relocating to the Okanagan in 2016 to work as a chef in the thriving wine industry, he fell in love with the region and knew it was where he wanted to put down roots. In 2017, The Wienery was born, co-founded with former partner Tahnee Adams. Although business and family dynamics have changed over the years, The Wienery remains a family-owned and operated business, dedicated to serving the amazing community that has supported it since its humble beginnings.

From the start, The Wienery's mission has been clear: to make the best hot dog anyone has ever had and provide the best service they’ve ever had. This ethos continues to guide Campbell's approach, driving him to craft elevated gourmet comfort food using premium ingredients while delivering outstanding customer service.
